Surrounded by Edvard Munchs monumental Aula frieze, Sivert E. Iglebæk Thue (Collection Curator for the Munch Museum) will offer us food for thought inspired by connections between Munch’s art and music.

7pm - Concert

Ludvig van Beethoven: String Quartet Op.18 No.1 in F major
Clara Schumann: Drei Lieder Op.12, arranged for String Quartet and Soprano by Aribert Reimann.
Arnold Schönberg: String Quartet No. 2, Op.10

Luna Quartet from Young Quartet Series will open the concert with the 4th movement from Zemlinsky’s 1st String Quartet.
